Restructure back end endpoints
Description
Uses appropriate HTTP methods rather than just GET and POST, introducing PUT and DELETE requests. Uses the appropriate method, cutting down the number of routes by generalizing. For example, api/courses/set
and api/courses/delete
(not real routes) can become one route api/courses
that has a PUT and a DELETE endpoint.
